He returned to university and in 1986 graduated as registered pharmacist. Combining both of his qualifications, Joe worked as a research officer for several years, where he developed cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. In 1989 Joseph made the switch to community pharmacy, where he become the proud owner of his first pharmacy. Wanting to help the community he grew up in, he focused on building a pharmacy with a diligent focus on comprehensive health care. His keen interest in formulating his own skin creams, herbal mixtures and wide range of natural products, eventually grew into the culmination of a compounding pharmacy. AHS compounding now distributes and dispenses a wide range of medication and supplements state and nation-wide.
